Due to our strong presence in the market and the rapid advancement of display technology, intensive development efforts are a critical factor in our business. Following a holistic approach, we focus on basic research, device development and last, but not least, on design and construction.  

In our basic research activities, we adopt current market trends and perspectives and implement them – in the long run – as innovative hardware and software solutions, focusing mainly on circuitry design and layout, firmware development and application programming. To accomplish these tasks, we employ state-of-the-art development platforms.

The device and application development departments create marketable products based on our customers' requirements. State-of-the-art display technology, combined with our in-house developments, enables us to provide customized solutions for the broad Data Modul customer base.

Assuring the reliability of our products plays a major role in this context. Applying extensive test and approval procedures, we always succeed in complying with the taxing requirements of the market, keeping the time-to-market for these perfectly designed products very short.

In addition to an optimum functionality, the importance of styling and an aesthetic design is growing steadily, even for industry products.     

In order to meet our own standards as a competent systems partner in the market, we complement our development activities by running a fully-fledged design and construction department. The aspects covered here include 3D design, computer-aided heat management, prototyping and device customization, to name only a few.
